LVG Vampires & Steampunks: No direction required here - this queen of the ancients has lots of excellent poses ready - this was probably the best. Great eye contact for this one, probably the shot of the night.

LVG Vampires & Steampunks: Played around a bit to get this nice grain effect with lots of contrast for this one - the lighting was low so all these shots were high ISO anyway - but I just liked how this turned out, especially with the light from above.

LVG Vampires & Steampunks: Catherine in contemplative mood - maybe the bar had just closed, who knows. The hat has a great purple band to it, but this was the best angle with the feathers leading out of frame.

LVG Vampires & Steampunks: A Chance shot this - I’ll not take all the credit here - the dance floor lights caught this couple in a moment (hope they don’t mind this one going up here, but I like it a lot!)

LVG Vampires & Steampunks: Two very intense looks one from the Tank Girl on the right - great party this, way more steampunk type outfits than vampires - which was a surprise.

LVG Vampires & Steampunks: This fearsome gentleman had travelled from New Zealand and was rewarded with the best Steampunk prize - the syringe mandibles are inspired by the Predator and the colourful tattoos finish this off nicely. Can’t remember what he was offering me money for…

Off to the London Vampyre Group’s Steampunk/Vampyre party tomorrow night - hopefully get some good shots there, what this space…

This chap purchased these wonderful steampunk shades at WGT - and with the goatee, he’s surely off to the lab to throw his hands in the air and shout “It’s Alive!”

Superb makeup on this girl at WGT 2008 - the perfect death bride look. Swarmed by togs everywhere she went which she didn’t look happy about (I’m guilty too)
